Myths, stereotypes, and misinformation are often at the heart of discrimi-nation, harassment, and violence against LGBTQ+ individuals. This ses-sion tackles the basics of LGBTQ+ lives and experiences; and helps par-ticipants learn proper terms, understand facts about gender identity and discover how to be an advocate.
