Summer Service: How Will We Ever Learn to Talk to Each Other?

At a time in our national life when so many conversations rapidly devolve into us vs. them, let’s take a look at how our  choices of words affects what others truly hear when we talk. Likewise, what do we hear when others talk to us? What do we all expect, need, feel? With his nonviolent communication approach, Marshall Rosenberg offers the world some suggestions for more easily resolving conflicts, hearing the needs of others and strengthening all kinds of relationships.

From June 21 through September 6, we will have summer services on Sunday morning. These services have lower production values, usually, but greater intimacy. Most weeks, People’s people will share reflections on things that matter to them and there will be time for small group conversations. The speakers’ schedule is not available as the newsletter goes to press – it will be shared in weekly emails.

You can access the order of service HERE.

Please join us on Zoom or in person! Services are normally held in the Commons and over Zoom at 10:45am. Sunday Services can be accessed over Zoom by following this link: https://uuma.zoom.us/j/5527667326 Or by calling 1-646-876-9923 and entering the code 552 766 7326 at the listed time.
