Continuing her Halloween series on iconic monsters, Rev. Rachel will explore the history of the mummy in Western popular culture. Could this be a lens through which to better understand the history of European (and subsequently North American) views with Southwest Asia and North Africa (a term many who live there prefer to ‘Middle East’)? Rev. Rachel thinks so. Maybe after this service, you’ll agree.
