November 9, as part of the Sunday Service

The Board of Trustees invites all People’s Church members to a special congregational meeting to consider the question ‘Shall the congregation spend up to $38,000 to purchase the solar panels on the roof of the church building?’

This meeting will take place as a portion of the Sunday service on November 9 with members able to fully participate both in person and via Zoom. Voting on the final motion will happen via mail and electronic means for two weeks following the meeting.

There will be an information session about the content and process of this meeting on Saturday November 8 at 11am in the Commons and on Zoom. Members are also encouraged to bring questions and concerns to Tom Hackley, church treasurer and one of the people who led the implementation of the solar panel contract six years ago.
