SAVE the DATE! People’s Church Fine Arts Sale & Holiday Bazaar will be held Saturday, November 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 21st, will be the date of our Annual Bazaar, our biggest all-church fun(d)raiser.  All members, visitors, and friends are welcome and needed to join in this all-hands-on-deck event.

The planning is well under way, and all 32 of our artist’s slots have already been confirmed. Please invite your friends and neighbors to save the date and to join you to “shop local” for one-of-a-kind art gifts and our famous People’s Specialties!

To help us get started, here are a few ways you can get involved now:

We are looking for 2 -3 volunteers to help us set up the Crafts section of our People’s Specialties during the week leading up to the Bazaar. We need folks to price items, to display them in an appealing way, and to make small signs.  So … if you’re an engaged shopper with a sense of prices, or have a bit of a visual flair, we would so very much love to have you lend a  hand.  And, if you just have a knack for sticking on a price tag … we welcome you too.

Make art/craft items for us to sell in People’s Specialties.

It’s not too early to think about fun and interesting items that you can craft to donate for sale in the People’s Specialty section.  Whether you are an experienced crafter, a vocational artist or an occasional dabbler, the community seems to love our creations. You can turn in your handmade crafts anytime between now and November 15 (the Sunday before the Bazaar.)

Sign Up for Pasty-Making Sessions

Get to know other People’s people and help make our famous pasties which are frozen and sold at the Bazaar. No experience needed! Someone who knows their way around the pasties will be on hand for every session and Chef Bob Friedel will lead the process once again.

There are three different opportunities to help during each pasty-making weekend. Chop vegetables on Friday afternoon, roll out dough and assemble pasties on Saturday morning, or wrap pasties for freezing on Saturday afternoon.
