Artist Statement: In this show there are works from twenty plus years. I have been fortunate to travel widely over the years and many of my art works are inspired by the people, landscapes, history and myths of the cultures I visited. These quilts are part of several series including Amish, Guatemalan, Black and White, and Chintz. I tend to work in series because one idea leads to the next and by the time I am on my third piece, I am doing things I never could have thought of.
