Did you know that the high five was co-created by the first openly gay major league baseball player in 1977? Rev. Rachel will tell this story in a sports-themed service that will also feature a seventh inning stretch, peanut-free Cracker Jack and a few other sporty surprises.

We’re encouraging people to dress in their sports clothes or in gear that supports their favorite team. I encourage you to interpret this invitation as broadly as you like. Maybe your team is your favorite band or your Hogwarts house or your hometown or something you’re a fan of or ? If none of this works for you, just dress in a way that feels good.
