This organization was suggested to our congregation by our People’s Church youth Tea Wadsworth-Curcuru.

Care Collective of Southwest Michigan provides free diapers and period supplies to young people in our community. These products are essential for health and well-being, but half of children in Kalamazoo live in households with an income too low to meet their basic needs. Care Collective prioritizes BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant youth and caregivers in their work.

In addition to financial contributions, we will be running a period product drive from October 8-22. Please donate period products for local youth.
