To make this rain garden a reality, we need people to help maintain the garden for the first year or so. The maintenance would involve watering and weeding as needed, between about the end of March and the first frost. The garden will be approximately 8’X8′, so it won’t be a monumental task, but the work will be easier and more fun when shared. We already have one maintenance volunteer but need several more. Without enough interest, it really doesn’t make sense to have a rain garden at this time. We want to be sure that once it is created we have the means to properly maintain it. Please look for Kimberly Ginn, Connie Ferguson, or Sue Salvat at church on Sundays to sign up for these tasks or send an email to one of us. Working with fellow church members is always a good time!
