Sermon Seminar with Rev. Rachel
Beginning September 24
6:30-9pm, Room L1, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays through February 11 (no class in late November or late December)
The class, Rev. Rachel previously offered in the 2018-19 church year, is about writing sermons – and more. It is also a chance to learn about the purpose of Unitarian Universalist worship, get to know others in a more meaningful way, and learn the skill of theological reflection – how do we find meaning in our own experiences. People who complete the program will be invited to preach their sermon in a service, likely during Rev. Rachel’s sabbatical. (Public preaching is not required.)
This class will require some homework (writing, reading, and listening to sermons between sessions).
