People’s Church rain garden is progressing. The area has been dug out, shaped, and planted. However, our recent rains have made it apparent that we need to do some tweaking. The garden is collecting a lot of standing water due to high clay content in the soil. While we want the garden to collect water, the clay is keeping it from seeping further into the soil in a timely manner. We will be meeting to help remedy this, weather permitting, on Saturday, October 28, at 9:30 a.m. Please feel free to join us as we continue this garden adventure!
