Minna Budlong
1922 - 1923
Minna Budlong, Julia's mother, a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Iowa and of the Wisconsin School of Library Science, was persuaded to serve as acting minister during Julia's illness. Minna was ordained and installed as minister in the fall of 1922 and served until the summer of 1923 when she left for Boston to become field secretary for the Women's Alliance. After Minna left, the members decided to buy a new boiler and not hire a new minister until it was paid for. There were 87 members listed at this time.
