Board of Trustees

In an effort to provide communication between committees and the Board of Trustees regarding any issues or concerns that need the Board’s attention, the Board is proposing the following path. The committee chair should contact a member of the Executive Committee (Marti Peters-Sparling, Tom Hackley, Donna McClurkan) at least 2 days before the Executive Committee meets. The Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, and the Executive Committee meets one week before that to discuss and plan the agenda. In other words, if a committee has a concern that relates to Board policy, it should be communicated nine days before the Board meeting. We hope this will clarify and simplify communication between various groups in the church.
