UUA Staff Member Connie Goodbread has said, ‘Everything we do is faith formation. Everything we teach is Unitarian Universalism. The congregation is the curriculum.’ On the first Sunday of religious education for children and youth in this program year, we will commission our religious education teachers and advisors, and debut a new recessional (the song we sing as children go to their classes). Rev. Rachel will preach on how what we teach our children (and each other) is not just what happens in the RE classrooms, but in all of our congregational life together.
