Ministry on the frontier and in our denomination was challenging enough in the 1800s. The resilience and perseverance of women ministers like Rev. Caroline Bartlett Crane, despite being shunned by the Boston patriarchy, makes their ministry even more remarkable! What can we learn from Crane’s imaginative, resilient, inspiring ministry that re-energizes and deepens ministry in this time of an endemic pandemic when the concept of church itself is being redefined? Rev. Claudia Jiménez will be preaching to us via Zoom.

The Rev. Claudia Jiménez serves as Minister of Faith Development at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville in NC. Prior to seminary she served as Director of Religious Education for the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach, FL for 17 years. During that time, she ran for office and served on her local school board for 8 years. Claudia and her husband Steve are proud parents of two young adult daughters. When not at work she enjoys Latin dancing, hiking and traveling.
