REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: October 31, 2022.

REGISTRATION FEE: $135 per person. Either pay online at https://bit.ly/2lSUZOj or make checks payable to People’s Church with Mystic Lake in the memo line and send to People’s Church Religious Education 1758 N. 10th Street Kalamazoo, MI 49009.

This fee includes accommodations, meals and all activities led by professional camp staff. It includes a light Friday night snack, 3 meals on Sat and Sunday breakfast. We will be sleeping in heated Yurts with nearby bathrooms and showers. Activities include a challenge course, wilderness survival skills, archery, nature hike, wagon ride, campfire songs, skits and s’mores.

*** Parents must complete a waiver for all youth who participate. Bring the waiver with you to Mystic Lake with a copy of your registration form that has been signed by a parent/guardian. Waiver is available HERE. ***

Scholarships: Since this event is organized by the participating churches there are no scholarship funds available. If you need financial assistance, please check with your home church.

Please Note: We need one adult from each church for every 7 youth in attendance including at least one adult from each church with youth attending.

What to Bring

  • Sleeping Bag and small pillow
  • PJ’s or sleepwear
  • Towel, soap and shampoo
  • Toothbrush and paste
  • Deodorant
  • Water Bottle labeled with name
  • WARM CLOTHES – it is often cold and rainy and we will be outside 
    • Warm jacket
    • Extra shoes or boots
    • Hat and gloves
    • Raincoat or poncho
    • Extra socks
    • Extra sweatshirt or sweater
    • A plastic bag for wet clothes
  • Medications must include clear instructions for use and given to an accompanying adult

DO NOT BRING:

  • Electronics
  • Cell Phones
  • Weapons – toy or real, including pocket knives
  • Food or beverages other than water
  • Caffeine or tobacco products
