The upcoming December Special Collection will be held on December 11th to benefit Ministry with Community. Ministry with Community is one of our traditional yearly recipients. MWC is a daytime shelter and resource center in downtown Kalamazoo. They are open 365 days a year to anyone who needs their services, including those experiencing homelessness, poverty, substance use disorder, and other crises. The following services are available 7 days a week: daytime shelter, breakfast and lunch, showers, laundry, personal hygiene items, lockers, phone access, receive and send mail, computer access, photo copy and fax access. In addition, social work and peer support services including crisis intervention, recovery support, employment assistance, housing assistance, and partner agency outreach are also provided. Our own Kelly Henderson, Executive Director of Ministry with Community will speak briefly at our Sunday Service.
