The piano in the Commons is on its last legs. After a professional assessment this fall, the board agreed that we should replace the nearly 100 year old instrument. Jennifer Drake is keeping an ear out for a possible replacement piano that fits our budget. The estimated cost for a suitable replacement with better sound quality, playability, and life expectancy is $10,000-15,000. The music committee will be planning a fundraising event for early 2023. Individuals are also welcome to make an earmarked donation toward the new piano fund. The gift of a donation to this fund would be a lovely gesture if you know someone who loves the music at Peoples Church.
