George Patterson

George Patterson

1911 - 1916

George F. Patterson emphasized good music: had a large paid choir; Mrs. Patterson organized a Sunday School orchestra. He worked to get good publicity, and maintained close denominational contacts. Later he became an executive vice president of the AUA (American Unitarian Association, predecessor to the UUA).

William Yerington was minister from 1917-19. Interest declined, and in June 1919, the small congregation was trying to decide whether to hire another minister or to have only a paid Sunday School worker.
