Truthfully there are many ways we could celebrate this budding of summer, this budding of life but perhaps the meaning of Memorial Day gets it exactly right. This will be a day of remembrance.
Colleen has served All Souls Community Church of West Michigan as its first settled minister since 2012. Colleen is a member of our UU Trauma Response Ministry Team. Currently she serves a teaching pastor for All Souls’ intern minister which gives her the title of Adjunct Professor of Ministerial Formation at Meadville Lombard. And finally Colleen is a weekly clergy contributor to the Ethics and Religion Talk column in our local online news sources The Rapidian and the Grand Rapids Press.
