Church Year Services:  During the fall, winter and spring (September thru June – consult the Events Calendar for specific dates), all members and visitors are invited to arrive as early as 10:00 a.m. for coffee, tea, snacks and fellowship in the foyer.  This is a good time to get to know other People’s people.  Child care is available in the nursery starting at 10:00. Sunday Services begin at 10:45 a.m.  Children and youth attend the first part of the service with their families, then go to their classrooms for religious education.

Summer Services:  During the summer, Sunday Services also begin at 10:45 a.m. but meet in Room 19 (at the top of the stairs). Activities for elementary-aged children K-6th grade and baby / toddler care are provided. Light refreshments are available after the service in the lobby.

When arriving through the main entrance (south end of the building), you will be greeted at the door.  The Visitor’s Desk is located directly in front of the entrance before you head up the stairs.  Please stop at the desk.  The Visitor’s Desk is staffed with a knowledgeable member of People’s Church who will offer you a nametag, ask for you to provide us with some information about yourself, and will arrange for a tour of the church.  If you have children visiting that would like to attend religious education classes, a religious education registration form will be provided and a Religious Education greeter will show you where your child’s classroom is located.  There is also a large desk located upstairs in the reception area where members are available to provide information.

All visitors are invited to reach out directly to our minister, Rev. Rachel Lonberg, or our Director of Religious Education, Diane Melvin, with any questions about the church.  Meet and Greet sessions are held after the church service for visitors on a regular basis.  These sessions often include light snacks and are attended by our minister, visitors, friends and members of People’s Church.  This is a great forum to ask questions and get to know people better.  A schedule of upcoming events can be obtained from the Visitors Desk, the Information Desk, or on the People’s Church events calendar page.
