From September 12 to October 3, we will be offering two services each Sunday—an in-person outdoor service on the church grounds at 10:45 a.m. and a Zoom service at 7 p.m. The two services will focus on the same theme, but will engage it in different ways. The in-person service will include more rituals and movement; the Zoom service will include poetry, preaching, and meditative practices.
In this service, we will gather waters together—literally and metaphorically—and gather ourselves together—physically and virtually—for the beginning of our program year.
If you are attending the in-person service, please bring a small amount of water from a place that is meaningful to you. If you are attending the Zoom service, please have water with you as you connect to Zoom. There will be a small sprinkler to play in at our outdoor service. If you think you (or someone in your family) might get wet, please bring a change of clothes.
