Michael Franti and Spearhead sing, ‘We can be the healing / We can be the flower in the gun.’ On this final service of the program year, we will participate in the flower ritual created by Rev. Norbert Čapek, a Czech Unitarian minister; share flowers; dedicate ourselves to some of the children in our community; and commission one another to be brave in support of our values. Everyone is invited to bring a flower to share. This is an intergenerational service. Everyone is invited to stay in The Commons for the whole service, though the nursery and preschool classes are open and staffed for the youngest members of the church community.
