Our series on the four faiths continues with mysticism. People who are mystics generally root the source of their faith in the first source affirmed and promoted by UU congregations—‘direct experience of that transcending mystery and wonder, affirmed in all cultures, which moves us to a renewal of the spirit and an openness to the forces which create and uphold life.’ In this service we celebrate mysticism and the gifts—and challenges—that it provides us all as we seek to live with integrity.
