Intergenerational ServiceDiane Melvin, Youth and Children

All are invited to join us as all ages gather together to celebrate the spirit of sharing, caring and giving this holiday season.  We will highlight several winter holiday traditions including Christmas, Hannukah, Chalica and Winter Solstice in the service.  Several other winter religious celebrations will be featured on displays which the children are creating for the foyer.  Featuring art, stories, music and participation by our children and youth, we will celebrate this special time of year together.  The poem “Christmas Peace”, written and read by Maya Angelou, will be our closing words.

During the service we will recognize and welcome several New Members who have recently signed our church’s Bond of Union, and thereby accepted the opportunities and responsibilities of membership.  We will also be taking a Special Collection during this service for Ministry with Community.  Following the service, our Second Sunday Lunch will be held in the Commons, hosted by the Board of Trustees.
