In this service, we’ll be exploring the wisdom of two prophets who taught people to love their neighbors—Jesus and Mr. Rogers. To channel the spirit of Mr. Rogers, feel free to wear your favorite cardigan. We’ll be sharing a meal together during the service and having small group conversations at our tables—please bring a breakfast dish to share. After our meal, the service will include a chance to wash another’s feet as both Mr. Rogers and Jesus demonstrated. (This ritual is optional, of course.)
This is an intergenerational service. People of all ages are invited to stay in The Commons for the whole service. The nursery and preschool classrooms will be open and staffed for our youngest children.
