From its beginnings as a “teach-in” during April of 1970, Earth Day has arisen as a new global consciousness of our role in caring for the earth, our home. Our children and youth, along with the musicians of “Rainbow Oblivion” and the People’s Singers, will share their perspectives during this annual inter-generational celebration. Other presenters will include Cybelle Shattuck, Jeff Kirkwood, Ben Miller, and Stephanie Measzros. During the early part of the service we will have a Ceremony of Dedication for Children. If your family would like to participate in this ceremony, please speak to Diane Melvin or Rev. Dave Johnson.
The Special Collection during the service will support the work of Lending Hands.
