Boiling Point Collective, an emerging nonprofit founded by People’s Church members, was the recipient of Sunday’s Special Collection, totaling $954.44, which will go to support their continuing growth.  Thanks to all who contributed.

Our next Special Collection will be on February 10 for Trans Lifeline.  Trans Lifeline is a national trans-led organization dedicated to improving the quality of trans lives by responding to the critical needs of our community with direct service, material support, advocacy, and education. Our vision is to fight the epidemic of trans suicide and improve overall life-outcomes of trans people by facilitating justice-oriented, collective community aid. People’s people have benefited from the small grants they offer to trans people.

Excitement is growing at ISAAC, where the Endowment goal of $50,000 has reached almost 80% — $39,300!!  When the goal is reached, the Fund will begin to generate annual interest income for ISAAC. You can follow this progress by going to the ISAAC website.  Reminder—enter May 18 on your planner for the Annual ISAAC Banquet.

The Green Sanctuary Committee is showing films on environmental issues every fourth Sunday at 12:30.  See separate article for specifics.
