Our June special collection will go to Loaves and Fishes’ FOOD is FUEL CAMPAIGN for KIDS. Over 48 % of students in Kalamazoo County rely on free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs in schools to meet their nutritional needs. During the summer months when school is not in session, many of these kids go hungry. For parents who are struggling to make ends meet, trying to fill this food gap is a huge challenge. Loaves and Fishes provides extra food at 70 different locations in food pantries, churches, schools and other agencies during the summer months to meet this need. Make a difference in some child’s life. Donate to the FOOD is FUEL CAMPAIGN for KIDS on June 12th.
