JUUst Breathe Live: Youth Ministry Podcast
We are excited to share with you the creation of a new Unitarian Universalist Youth Ministry Podcast!
JUUst Breathe Live is a podcast hosted by religious educators Shannon Harper and Eric Bliss. Join them the third Saturday of each month as they interview youth and young adult leaders in our faith and learn how these leaders are working to make a difference in youth ministry in their own communities.
This podcast is a great resource for religious educators and UU adults who want to learn how to better support youth communities and youth leadership. It is also a great resource for youth and emerging adults who are wanting to feel more connected to their own faith, or who are looking for inspiration for their own projects of change. Past episodes have ranged far and wide covering topics such as Mental Health First Aid, how to find your own spiritual direction, how UU youth are tackling topics such as climate justice, what life looks like after bridging/circling, and celebrating the music of Rising Appalachia!
You can watch episodes on Youtube at or listen to them on your favorite podcast app! You can also stay more in touch with the JBL community on Instagram at @juustbreathelive or on Facebook at facebook.com/uupod. We hope you will take a moment to hear what these amazing youth and young adults are up to, and to share the podcast with your own beloved communities!
Wellspring Upcoming Young Adult Programs: Summer and Fall 2022
Connecting to Inner Beliefs: UU Wellspring for Young Adults 18-25 is a chance to ask the big questions in life and reflect on what is deeply important to you.
Connecting to the Great Beyond: As UUs we don’t always talk about spirituality and UUW-YA gives you a chance to wonder how our souls are connected to the great beyond as we explore our six Unitarian Universalist Sources.
Connecting to Peaceful Practices: You’ll have a chance to try out spiritual practices, which can simply be choosing an intention, such as gratitude, and thinking about it as you carry out an activity. For example, you might choose to attend to a class, a daily task, or work with gratitude.
This 8-session program provides Sources and Spiritual Practice for 18-30 year old emerging adults. This age group is also encouraged to consider the 10 month Sources program. Funded by YAYA office of the UUA. 0-$100. Offered summer and fall. Register HERE
