The Elementary Sleepover is a very popular annual event for People’s Church children that provides a night of community building and fellowship. It’s a great opportunity for children new to People’s Church to make friends, and for those who have been attending for a while to strengthen friendships. It’s also a lot of fun! We will start with a family potluck and then have games and activities. We will finish the evening by getting ready for bed and setting up our sleeping bags, and then having healthy snacks and watching a movie before the lights go out. The event ends with a breakfast.
WHAT TO BRING: A kid-friendly dish to pass for the family potluck and a healthy snack to share during the movie, plus a sleeping bag, pillow & pajamas
Halloween costumes are encouraged, but optional
Please let us know if you can help! Adults are needed to:
- Set up the potluck
- Stay and clean up after the potluck
- Spend the night with the kids
- Help with games and activities on Friday evening
- Make breakfast or assist with clean up on Saturday morning
