Every MLK weekend for over a decade, young adults from around the region have gathered at People’s Church for a Unitarian Universalist conference. This year around 35 young people gathered to enjoy workshops, worship, games, and fellowship together. I was delighted that for the first time, there were 6 young people who grew up in and recently bridged out of our RE program who participated in this year’s Con. I hope that this community and UUism continues to be meaningful to these young people as they find their way in life. Special thanks to Fernando Ospina and Sasha Acker for all their work in making this Con happen this year!
