The Sacred in the Mundane

Beloved UU religious educator Sophia Lyons Fahs said that, “Life becomes religious whenever we make it so.”

All around us are opportunities to notice sacred moments, even in the midst of the mundane. What daily rituals do you and/or your family engage in? Activities as simple as teeth brushing and dish washing can be sacred acts when done with care and attention.

May you discover the Holy within yourself and everywhere you direct your attention to notice it.

Blessed Be, Diane Melvin, Religious Education Director

They are sweet
