At People’s Church, we are “building this church together” as the adaptation from Emma’s Revolution states.  We have a great opportunity as part of the Keep Feeding Our Flame campaign to take time in small groups to share what matters most to us about building our church together.  The word “build” can relate to the support of the physical space that our congregation occupies – but it can also refer to the time of transition we are currently in.  We have an opportunity to “build” what People’s will become together through election of a strong Search Committee and by continuing to provide our ideas and visions about what we want our congregation to become.

One great way to do this is in small group conversations.  The Keep Feeding Our Flame campaign has afforded us the opportunity to have these interactions as Cottage Conversations.  There are 10 chances to meet with others in the homes of People’s People during the next month or so.  Board members, Transition Team members and members of the Commitment Campaign will be in attendance and available to answer any questions or share your feedback.  However, there is no agenda or pitch.   This is an invitation to come and connect with other members and friends of our congregation.

We encourage everyone to attend a Cottage Conversation.  Sign-up can be done by contacting the church office or via SurveyMonkey here.  Please sign-up as soon as possible – by Monday, March 31.  Sign-Up forms will be available at church at the Information Desk as well.

The dates, times and locations of the Cottage Conversations are listed below.  If you sign-up via email, we’ll provide the address of the home – or you can find it via the SurveyMonkey link above.
