The Final Push is on for the Bazaar on November 19th! Please Volunteer, Contribute, Promote, and Shop the People’s Church 2016 Fine Art Sale & Holiday Bazaar

bazaar-flyer-2016The Bazaar has become a signature event for our church community—where everyone—members, friends, and family members —can play a part in making it happen. We hope for over 700 people to come through our doors that day. Now is the time to bake, craft, sign up, and spread the word. The Bazaar supports our church budget, our programs and our service to others, and helps others get to know about us. Here are some of the many ways you can help.

Invite people to come to the Fine Art Sale & Holiday Bazaar.  Publicity has begun, and you can help!  There are posters and postcards available on the Bazaar sign-up table in the foyer that you can take and post at local venues/your workplace and distribute to folks you think might be interested in attending our event.  Or, we can send you the poster via email to forward that way—invite people to meet you for lunch in the café!  If you’re online, please share and post the event on Facebook and forward the Bazaar posting and/or event invitation to your friends, work colleagues, neighbors, and family.  Personal invitations are always the best.  How many people can you draw to this important fundraising event?

Sign up to work a shift at the Bazaar. Many people will be needed for various work shifts (generally 9-11, 11-1, and 1-3) on Saturday the 19th in each area (People’s Specialties, White Elephant, Café, Greeters, etc.) Please sign up at the Bazaar table in the foyer or sign up online. (Everyone needed at 3pm for clean-up.)

Make things for People’s Specialties. The foyer will be beautifully arranged with your fabulous homemade baked goods, candies, jams and breads, frozen entrees, and craft items. Your generous contributions of homemade goods are needed. Have a delicious recipe for a vegan or gluten-free dish?—we need those too!  Simply drop off your contributions on Friday the 18th or early Saturday for pricing and arranging.

Shop local! It’s hard to find a more interesting variety of gift items than you will find at our Bazaar, including green and alternative items. Bring your list and find the perfect choices right here from 31 local vendors.

Don’t park at church – Take the Shuttle! –Park your car at our neighbor church Centerpoint Church at 2345 10th St. and ride in our church van with CONTINUOUS service all day, from 7:30 to 4:30 right at our front door. If you must park at church, please leave spaces near the church for customers who will come and go during the day.

Plan to eat in the café. The food is splendid! Morning snacks, a fabulous array of lunch items—including pasties—and afternoon pies and more, will be available. Enjoy!

Help host our guests. Many people come to our Bazaar because they like the warm and friendly people. Please greet everyone and thank our vendors, too.
