imagePeople’s people of all ages are invited to join us for an RE Committee-sponsored social justice project coming up soon.  Here are the details:
WHERE:  Circle Pines Center in Delton, MI
WHEN: 10 am to 5 pm Saturday, May 3 (lunch included)
WHAT:  Projects to include outdoor clean-up after this long, harsh winter, including gathering tree branches and clearing paths and trails, as well as some gardening work.  There will also be indoor cleaning work.    
MORE ABOUT CIRCLE PINES: This is a member-based, non-profit education and recreation center with a summer camp, and year-round programs for families, children and adults. The center includes 294 acres of beautiful rolling hills and hardwood and pine forests, and has frontage on Stewart Lake. It includes an organic garden and orchard.  The mission of Circle Pines is to “teach peace, social justice, environmental stewardship and cooperation.  The Center aims to demonstrate cooperative alternatives for economic and social issues and to teach cooperation as a way of life.”
