There will be a viewing and discussion of the film “Free Indeed” on Friday, February, 15 from 6-8 in Room 19 at People’s Church.
This film provides an opportunity to talk about the privileges white people have. In the film, four white middle-class young adults play a game that helps them discuss issues of accountability, unseen assumptions, success, and what racism does to white people as a pre-requisite for doing a service project for a Black Baptist church. This film is helpful for anyone doing community service work.
