People’s Church’s Annual Meeting will be held on May 18 in combination with our Sunday service. We will be conducting important business for our congregation that day:
1. Receive annual reports from the Board President, Treasurer, and each of our committees.
2. Learn the results of our combined Commitment Campaign and vote on 2014-15 budget recommendations.
3. Vote on the proposed slate of new Board members (Greg Feldmeier, Nadine Godin-Nassaney, and Ben Jones).
4. Meet and hear from Rev. Barbara Child, the UUA Ministerial Settlement Representative who will be guiding us through our search process.
The decisions we make at the Annual Meeting will have a significant impact on our congregation and your participation is important. We will require a quorum of 50% of our members to conduct business on behalf of the church.
Martha Beverly and River Artz-Iffland are organizing a celebration lunch that afternoon and are asking people to bring a dressed, ready-to-eat salad of any kind. Include labeled serving ware. Also label your salad contents as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or containing meat or egg.
