Styrofoam Recycling!

Just in time for the holidays, there is a new option for dealing with polystyrene (brand name Styrofoam). Cooper Township has opened their quarterly foam recycling program to people outside the township. They accept peanuts, packing materials (e.g. the foam that protects electronics during shipping), egg cartons, and food containers that have been cleaned well (stains are okay, food debris is not).

Please remove lids, straws, packaging tape, and labels. It is helpful to sort the materials. For example, separate food containers from packing materials and put peanuts in see-through bags.
