The Green Sanctuary Committee invites you to stay after the service next week, on Feb. 8, to attend a presentation about the Edwin & Margaretta Palmer Memorial Sanctuary.  John Bagley, a representative of the Michigan Nature Association will be on hand to describe the rare plants, insects, and animals in this unique prairie fen nature preserve on land that once belonged to former People’s Church minister, Edwin Palmer and his wife Margaretta.  The property is currently managed by the Michigan Nature Association.  The presentation and discussion are being held in preparation for the upcoming Work Day at the Palmer Sanctuary on Saturday 2/21.  Come here more about this wonderful property and People’s unique stewardship opportunity.

You can read more about the Ed Palmer’s time at People’s here.
