Learn Tibetan Buddhist meditative techniques including concentration, contemplative analysis, visualization, mantras and prayers applied daily in a structured format.

This class is oriented toward giving students a solid set of practices to be engaged in daily. We will be going through the basic preliminaries such as setting up an altar, stabilizing our mind, setting our motivation, guided meditations for visualizations as well as analysis to aid in deepening our understanding and giving us a sense that we can affect the quality of our lives and of our future!

The practice will be based on a set of prayers and mantras that are common to basic Tibetan Buddhism.

This class is FREE and sponsored by Jewel Heart.  It takes place in Room 9 on Tuesday evenings, May 1st-15th, and June 5th-26th from 7:00-8:30p.m.
