The church is creating a new Facebook group called “People’s Perpetual Coffee Hour” for any interested congregants, but especially for those who may not have the time or desire to be part of a regularly scheduled once-a-month Chalice Circle, but who still want to be connected to other church members.
Group leaders will post conversation starters like “What’s your favorite quote?” or “What’s something that makes you laugh?” aimed at eliciting non-divisive, non-political responses. For confidentiality purposes, we are planning to limit the group to members and friends of the church.
