Announcing Peace and Nature Camp – June 20-24 2022!
Our Camp Mission is to inspire and practice peaceful interactions with ourselves, each other, and nature.
Camp Goals:
- Recognize our role in the interdependent web of life
- Build the Beloved Community
- Foster respect for nature
- Practice our UU values of peace, justice, equity, and right relations
- Experience and inspire wonder and awe
Daily Schedule:
Camp runs Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, from 9am to 4pm with before and aftercare available.
Kids ages 6-12 will enjoy a week of outdoor activities: exploring our church grounds, taking nature walks, building forts in the woods, going on a day trip to the Kalamazoo Nature Center, and splashing on the slip-and-slide, as well as daily music, art, mindfulness practice, science experiments, and lots of fun with church friends.
Costs:
One child: $150 for the week*
Additional siblings: $125 each*
$15 per week for before-hours care (7:30-9am)*
$15 per week for after-hours care (4-5:30pm)*
$25 per week for both before/after hours care*
