Anti-RacismThe following is a recommendation from your People’s Church Anti-Racism Anti-Oppression Multiculturalism Committee (ARAOMC).

“In the wake of yet another act of violence against a Person of Color in our nation, we are experiencing a (hopefully not) brief wave of dialogue and attention on racism and it’s dynamics.  As I have watched White people react and respond to this latest event, I see and hear many positions taken.  One of those positions is “I don’t know what to do”.  The following article, written by Janee Woods, may help us begin to think about the  possibilities for our own choices – as opposed to staying in a thought pattern of what “they” are or aren’t, should or shouldn’t do.”
